Maple Ridge Mobile Vet is a mobile veterinary practice based out of Goldsboro, NC, specializing in equine medicine for both pleasure and performance horses of eastern North Carolina, and routine preventative care for dogs and cats. Dr. Laura Smith enjoys all aspects of equine veterinary medicine with particular interest in preventative care, nutrition, and performance horse medicine. MRMVS clients are welcome to haul-in to Maple Ridge Farm for services, by appointment only.

Dr. Smith offers preventative care for dogs and cats, including wellness exams, deworming and fecal checks, vaccinations, microchipping, heartworm testing and prevention, and parasite prevention. We can help with minor ear infections and allergies. We do not offer emergency care or surgeries for dogs & cats.

MagnaWave PEMF Therapy

MagnaWave PEMF therapy is great for pets, too! MagnaWave promotes general wellness, and it also benefits pets with conditions such as arthritis, allergies, asthma, injuries or wounds, circulatory problems, seizures, caners, immune disorders, and even depression. End of Life & Hospice Care

Are you looking to improve your senior dog or cat's quality of life? Dr. Smith is available for physical examinations and quality of life consultations and can prescribe medicine and supplements at appointments. Please message us to set up an appointment.

Dr. Smith offers limited availability by appointment for at home euthanasia for large dogs (over 40 pounds). This service is available by appointment only, Monday-Friday, during normal business hours. If you are unsure if now is the right time, we recommend scheduling a hospice appointment prior to making a final end of life decision. Please email us for more information.
